Teenagers, ugh.

48 Quintara/going to get a "relaxing" pedicure: I dropped Leila off with a friend of mine and hopped on the 48 to get my final pedicure before giving birth, which can happen any day now. I am hugely pregnant and can no longer reach my toes, but I would like something bright and pretty to look at when I am in labor. I was excited to spend my Friday afternoon getting pampered, right up until I noticed the bus I was on was full of teenagers just getting out of school. They were all amped up and looking for drama. I tried to stay distracted by cracking open my latest obsession (the Twilight Series) and ignoring them. However, it wasn't long before the teenagers got too crazy.
A fight, not just yelling... a full physical fight broke out amongst some boys and things got ugly. The driver pulled over but didn't say or do anything. The boys tried to take it off the bus, but the driver wouldn't open the back doors. One of the kids jumped out the window, while another began punching the back door (which lead to breaking it). They all finally got off, but continued to fight. The driver got out too and we were stopped for about 20 minutes.
Now I am no fan of teenagers. especially those I have to deal with on the bus. I know, it's ironic that I am currently obsessed with teen literature. In any case, I was late for my pedicure, completely frazzled and unable to enjoy my last few moments of peace before my life once again turns to the all-consuming world of breast feeding and diaper changing.
Thanks a lot hooligans.
