Pretty Toes and Advice

At the Nail Salon: I took Norah with me to a pedicure/baby shower for a friend of mine. Getting a pedicure while sipping champagne and chatting with fellow mamas was quite nice. It was a lovely evening and it was so nice for me to be out of the house after dark! Norah snoozed away the night in sling. I am still germophobic when it comes to her (see previous post) so I didn't really want to take her out and play pass the baby. Despite my protectiveness, it is nice to hear people gush over her. One particular nail technician took a look at her and asked me how old she was. When I told her she was a just 6 weeks, the woman replied, "That's no good. Baby should be home. In my culture we don't take baby out." I nodded and she shook her head and walked away. It was my first piece of unsolicited baby advice with Norah! Thank you random nail lady!
